Confessions of an 'IRONIC HYPOCRITE'

It took Newton an apple and 37 years to realize that whatever goes up has to come down; and they say the guy is a genius; gimme a break. Anyways, coming to the point; it was an incident which made Newton understand that there are forces in nature which can offer explanations to unknown questions, especially to oneself. Similarly, a chemical reaction took place in my mind recently which made me think:
''was it the world or the way in which we perceive the world that makes us who we are today?''

"Learn from your mistakes" is the expression that the wise suggests. As much as cliched as it sounds, how often do we think or realize that our doings are wrong? How often do we so called 'learn from our mistakes' when we ourselves seldom succeed to differentiate between right and wrong? Surfing through the internet one day, I stumbled upon a quote- ''
Many of us believe that wrongs aren't wrong if it's done by nice people like ourselves''. Now that is what I call a QUOTE. We often listen to the voice of the narcissist inside us that makes us justify our mistakes rather than condemn it.
In case if you are starting to yawn, lets make things more interesting. I'm sure you've all heard the story of the ' boy who cried wolf'. The story ends where the wolf gobbles up the sheep and jogs away happily. Then comes the moral- 'Never tell lies'. Which part of the story tells you that the shepherd boy regretted his mistake and never repeated it. What if the shepherd boy felt that since no one came to his rescue, he must avenge the death of his sheep by stealing away one of theirs since he thought that was the only way in which he could get justice. Ha! and the author writes- ~THE END~. Now that is just plain escapism.
The reason why we live is NOT to find the truth, but to find the true self in us. Two questions always haunts me- 'Am I a person who believes in values and wisdom'? or 'Am I a person who shows that I believe in values and wisdom?' The answer to this question lies within me but the hunt for this question always brings me to a dead end. Now why am i saying that? Is it because I feel that there is an invisible wall that prevents me from moving forward in my quest or is it because I don't want to think beyond what my instincts want me to?
I hope the answer to this one doesn't remain buried forever because I want to know what I feel about myself- Now that is a true 'Ironic Hypocrite'.

Mohanlal- The Living Legend

22nd December 1995- The day I sat at home thinking how much fun my brother might be having at Trivandrum with my cousins made me jealous and angry. Seems like I was too young to stay with them. Sheesh!! Does one need to have 2 digits strapped to their age certificate to have fun? Well, its not like I wanted to vote.
Anyways, I picked up the half broken remote(thanks to my anger)from the floor and switched on the Tv to take my mind of my native place. Never in my wildest dreams did I realise that switching on the Tv can lure me to the biggest addiction that I could be living with for the rest of my life.
There he stood, clad in a yellow shirt with his 'mundu' tied in a perfect knot, staring at a police officer with his fingers running through his moustache. I just could'nt help but notice that graceful young man standing high in my mini screen. All throughout the movie, I sat there breathlessly wondering; ''Is this was one of those Walt Disney movies where they bring the magic of wonderland on screen?''

That night, I forgot how angry I was; all I could think of was that person- the one and only "Mohanlal"- our dear own Lalettan. The way he carried himself in 'Devasuram' truly portray the artistic and aesthetic skill of this marvelous actor. Then came a flow of movies of lalettan which attracted me like a magnet. I dont believe in judging people, but being a movie freak and having seen movies of all the so called finest actors, I still have not seen any actor who's acting flows like a leaf swaying in the cool and calm breeze; except that of lalettan's. Be it solomon in "Namukku Paarkan Mundhiri Thopukal" or Govardan in "Kalapani" or Kunjikuttan in "Vaanaprastham", there is no denying the fact that this marvelous and dedicated actor is truly a gift from the Almighty to God's own country.

Thought Of Planting An Online Money Tree??

Do you want to be a couch potato, relax at the privacy of your home and still make a lotta money? Sounds interesting right! Well, I have the answers to your prayers. These businesses are home based and require very little to get started. The advantages to owning a home based business are many, and all you really need is a computer system, an internet connection, and the right amount of commitment and dedication.

There is more to the word 'job' than just stuffing envelopes and licking stamps. The internet has opened up a whole new world for people who are tired of the traditional Monday to Saturday, nine to five gigs, and the commute from hell. More people now work from home than ever before thanks to Online Business opportunities and the World Wide Web. You would be surprised at the number of things people can now do to make money in the privacy of their own home, without the travel and daily headaches.

Online business opportunities may be the answer for you if you want to be your own boss, to not have to be somewhere by a certain time, and conform to what someone else is telling you to do. If you are motivated and have a bit of cash to get going, then you are well on your way to becoming an entrepreneur and possibly making more cash than you could ever dream possible. It happens, it really does! Just be knowledgeable about the online business opportunities you are seriously considering, and when you choose the right one, go for it with all you’ve got!

This is where the two words 'TRUST ME' comes into play, for I used to be one of those people who believed that making intangible money online was like looking at a picture of a chocolate cake and filling my stomach. In other words, its just not possible. Well, I was wrong, coz right now I am on the fast track to make some serious money, and lots of it through an online affiliated program called the "Stay Home Millionaires Club" & my wallet is already jingling with 3 digits...

For those of you who still think that this is one of those other scams, I have a new set of two words for you... 'BYE BYE'...

So Good Luck to all you internet surfers out there! Here's to your success & the happy smiling presidents stuffed in your wallet...
